The Club was established in 1922 on it's present site, initially with 6 grass courts. the main section of the clubhouse was purchased at that time in an auction sale held on Cannock Chase. It had previously been used to house service personnel during the first World War.
The Club now has 6 "all-weather" artificial grass courts all of which have floodlighting. There is a new, larger clubhouse with excellent changing facilities for Ladies and Gentlemen, a bar and a clubroom for social functions, meetings etc.
JUNIORS. There is a strong junior section of about 100 members. The club provides coaching for juniors during the school terms. Juniors are encouraged to play during the school holidays. There are other opportunities for competitive play. For more information click here: juniors
SOCIAL EVENTS. For senior members of all categories and for parents of junior members the Club runs a varied programme of social events throughout the year. This may include barbecues (for juniors also), skittles evenings, a quiz night as well as entertainment by outside artists. There is also a childrens' christmas party and a New Year's Eve Party.
